You've gotten evicted from your home. Luckily, a friend of yours offers her home for you to stay in, but there's a lot more to it than meets the eye. Creatures of all types are lurking just behind the corner, and you need to figure out who you can trust before it's too late.

Also tell me why I formed an emotional connection to the blue man, despite my first mental image of him being LITERALLY THE NEIGBOUR BLUE GUY FROM CORALINE? Welp, he's definatelly going on my "Guardian figures" comfort characters list along with Gaster and The Narrator(Stanley Parable). Thank you for blessing me with this experience. You should definatelly pursue writing, you are very skilled.

The emotional connection was definitely supposed to happen! He does not look like the neighbor blue guy from Coraline but that image made me laugh lmaoo. Do you mean Gaster from Undertale? (Undertale is one of my favorite games, though Outlast is definitely a close second!) I've heard of the Stanley Parable but never played it myself! I'm sure it's great, I'll need to play it sometime!

I do the exact same thing! If I like a person's work, I typically check out their profile as well to see if they made anything else and follow them if I liked their work/works! I've been writing since I was a kid and I also like reading a lot plus playing interactive fiction games as well, I really enjoy it! I thought the neighbor guy being the first image to pop into your head was funny as well, as it did make me laugh. I had a feeling it was from Undertale, it's one of my favorite games so when I read Gaster I was like "that's gotta be from Undertale" lol. My favorite is Sans from there though! I love puns.

AAAA. I became a blue man (?) in my first ending!!!! (Do not ask why I kept thinking: can I romance him somehow can I romance him SOMEHOW. I've been living in filth. BUT HE'S SO COOL. YOU MADE HIM SO INTERESTING.) I haven't done my second play through yet since it's like...11PM but I love ALLLLLL of this! You've executed this concept so well! And the blurriness and confusion with certain, err, times (not gonna spoil stuff) is SUCH a nice touch. I also love how the characters aren't quite cardboard cutouts (human or otherwise) but very rounded ones. I'm looking forward to your upcoming works!! Happy late Halloween tho <3333

Ahh, I'm honored that you made an account specifically to comment on my work!! I'm going to reply to everything you had to say! At the end, it doesn't have to be a man, it's whatever gender the person playing is! So if the player's a man, it'll be blue man, if the player's a woman, it'll be blue woman, if the player's non-binary, genderfluid, etc, it'll be blue being! Honestly just blue being works. ALSO LISTEN. I made the blue man that way on purpose hiusjdsid. I seem to have a thing for cocky but also threatening characters that are also protective. :^) Not gonna lie I would also try to romance him if possible. If this was a horror/romance game you could absolutely romance him but alas it's horror lol. There is only one ending in terms of that, but there are different choices throughout, as you can probably see irfjiodfj. I do my best to not make flat characters if possible. I do however also want to draw/animate them as well (I'm slowly learning on my own free time lol) so it's better than some visuals / so that it's more accurate!

this was so good omg I'm so glad I got to check out your work. it was rlly fun n I enjoyed the emphasis on the rules & that different timelines exist even w/ different choices. it was a lil funny though how the player ends up going into the basement even if you try not to I was like WHAT? no, stupid, I said don't go in there! haha anyway good job, am proud of you! I will have to try again to find other endings by making dumbass choices

I'm really glad you liked it and that you liked the emphasis on the rules (it's why at the beginning the player needs to remember (or try to) the rules lol) and yes!! There are a lot of different choices the player can make and each one leads to a different thing most times, but yeah the player is just like "I NEED ANSWERS.
